Teddy

Teddy is a young, rambunctious "go‑get‑'em" dog bursting with love and energy. He would thrive in a home that can offer consistency, routine, and lots of involvement, and he's happiest being allowed indoors as part of the family. Teddy does best with someone home often, as he can get bored when left alone - enrichment toys, brain games, and gradual training around alone time will help set him up for success.
He's still learning his manners and can be jumpy and excitable, so ongoing training around calm greetings and basic cues will be important (he already knows how to sit!). He's toy‑motivated, loves balls, and benefits from meals fed through enrichment to keep his busy mind engaged.
Teddy can feel unsure in new or busy environments, so calm, positive experiences at his pace are recommended. He has been social with dogs in shelter and reads them well but may do best with a similarly sized dog; he must meet any canine housemates at adoption. Teddy is open to the right family who can meet his needs and enjoy a fun, energetic companion. 💛
