About Benjamin
Introducing Benjamin, more affectionately known as Benny. Benny is around eight months old and we think will end up being medium in size.
He is a mixed breed pup who has had a rough start to life. While Benny is sweet, he is scared of most things this big scary world can throw at him, especially us humans.
While Benny is slowly starting to come out of his shell, he still has a long way to go, so will require an extremely dedicated owner to give him the best chance at a normal life as possible. He may freak out when approached, but will happily fall asleep by your side once a little bit of trust has been gained. Benny has gotten along well with all the dogs that have come into foster care here and is so gentle and patient with the pups. My dogs have told him off a few times and he has never responded with aggression.
Benny is house-trained and can use a doggy door. Benny walks ok on lead, but will freak out if too much is happening around him, so busy locations are not recommended until he finds his feet a bit more. He has such a beautiful soul, but just needs the perfect person or people to guide him and show him that the world is not such a bad place.
Benny would thrive in a quiet home with another doggy playmate or with someone who is mostly at home and can provide him with the guidance that he needs. Benny so deserves a home where he feels safe and loved.
If you can provide that home and are 100% committed to this beautiful boy, please send through an application.
