About Carlo
Introducing the handsome Carlo. Carlo has not had the best start to his life. Life on the street is very hard for any cat and even harder for kittens that find themselves alone, in the cold, hungry and scared. Carlo came into care after he was rescued by a colony feeder and has been in care due to ringworm infection and during his treatment time has been socialised. Carlo is now a healthy, happy junior kitty with a cheeky personality and lots of love to give. One thing that helped Carlo was his sister Monti who just happens to be up for adoption too. Ideally we would like both cats to be rehomed together as their journey so far has bonded them. Please apply via the link on the AWL website. Carlo & Monti are in foster care, they are not at the Kemps Creek Shelter and we will review all applications individually for the best fit for the cats. We expect a high number of applicants and will contact the sucessful applicant.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
