About Wally - 1 Year Old Cavoodle (Hold)
Hi, I'm Wally!, I am a male 1 year old Cavoodle, weighing around 8kg.
I haven’t had a lot of training or socialisation before coming into care and I can be timid at first, particularly when meeting new people. My foster mum says I have come so far in my short time in care and is confident with a patient and caring forever home, I will continue to flourish.
Once I settle into my environment I love play! Balls and squeaky toys are great! I am learning to play fetch and love to race my foster fur brother to the ball! But my absolute favourite thing is to have a playful doggy friend to play chasies, have couch zoomies together and then chill out and snuggle. While I love my play time, I love to finish the day with cuddles on the couch with my fur brother and my hoomans! I am a terrific blend of goofball, playful and once I feel confident with you - a sookie snuggler!
I am going really well with my toilet training and have only had the occasional accidents. With ongoing training, I'm sure I will master this in no time. I have already mastered the doggy door!
I would love a daily walk or a good session of fetch, however would benefit from more practice and ongoing training with my walks. My confidence is still building, but with time and patience I am sure it will become one of my favourite things!
I can still sometimes get spooked by loud noises and new things, so walks in quiet areas are my preference.
I am dog friendly and I would love a fur sibling for company in my new home. I would like this dog to be confident so I can learn from them. I am untested with cats and pocket pets.
I am an inside dog and I need to be allowed inside all the time, even when you're out. I am ok being left alone as long as I have doggy company, but I don’t want to be left for full time working hours, so I am looking for a home that is home for part of the week.
I am currently living with 3 human foster brothers and I am looking for a forever home without children under 5.
If you're interested in adopting me and willing to have a little patience to ensure I feel safe so that my confidence can build, and further training to allow me to develop the skills to be my best self, I assure you I will reward you 10 times over with my goofball antics and my loving, playful nature.
My adoption fee is $1000 which includes desexing, vaccinations and microchipping. I am also up to date on worming and flea treatments. I am in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW.
