About Billy
Are you a homebody who loves a loyal, affectionate companion? Well, meet Billy, the dog who’s ready to be your devoted buddy!
Billy is the picture of relaxation and calm. He enjoys the best of both worlds as an inside-outside dog and is fully toilet-trained. Though he enjoys playtime with his litter siblings, he’s typically a calm and easygoing buddy.
Billy is a pro at snuggling – whether it’s burying his head in your lap, giving you those irresistible dog eyes, or cuddling up to your chest when you sit or lie down. He absolutely adores physical affection and will keep coming back for more, making him the ultimate cuddle companion. He’s always ready to show his love!
When it comes to visitors, Billy might alarm bark at first, but it’s just his way of saying “hello” until he warms up.
He’s a great walker on a lead through built-up areas and would love the chance to explore the bush – as long as it’s not too busy.
Living in suburban Brisbane, Billy thrives in a normal-sized block with a decent yard. He’d likely do best in a similar environment or somewhere quieter. A home with a secure yard and a 6-foot fence is a must, as he can easily jump over shorter fences.
He hasn’t had much socialisation with unfamiliar dogs and tends to be a bit reserved, so he’ll need some patience and gentle encouragement in that area. If adopted into a home with another dog, Billy would do best with a young female who has a soft, playful personality to help him feel more confident and relaxed.
Billy also hasn’t had the opportunity to interact with young children or cats, so a home without them would be ideal for him to settle in happily.
Fireworks can make him seek out your comforting hugs, showing just how much he relies on his humans for reassurance during those surprising bursts.
If you’re looking for a chilled-out, affectionate companion who will adore you endlessly, Billy is waiting to bring joy and cuddles into your life. Are you ready to welcome him home?
To get things started on the right paw, Billy's adoption fee also includes a training session with a qualified positive reinforcement trainer. This consultation will provide you with expert guidance to help Billy transition into his new home and ensure a happy and harmonious life together.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
