About Mack
Meet Mack, a distinguished gentleman ready to settle into a peaceful retirement. While Mack may not be in his younger years, he still holds a youthful charm that never fails to brighten up the room. He has mastered the fine balance of independence tempered with a clear affection for his chosen people.
Like many individualistic souls, Mack can be selective when choosing his companions. He favours a quiet lifestyle, perfectly content with his plush bed and would treasure a calm, adult-only environment where he can unwind and relish peaceful afternoon siestas. If you're a bookworm or a lover of quiet, introspective activities, Mack could be your perfect companion, providing a comforting presence.
In terms of his special needs, any potential new family must be prepared to give Mack the time to build up trust and patience with his occasional short temper. But once you earn his trust and respect, you'll find yourself enveloped in a warm, protective bond that only a loyal pup like Mack can provide.
Mack also has the capacity to play nicely with smaller dogs. We aren't sure how he would be with cats, but we can arrange a meet and greet with your own furry friends to see how they get along.
If you're someone who appreciates a dog with a little bit of sass and tons of love, then Mack is the ideal companion. He's just waiting for a peaceful home to shower his subtle affections and spend his golden years in. Are you the special family Mack has been waiting for?
Medical notes
Mack has a slight structural deformity in his hind legs that leaves them permanently bent at an angle, he's never let this get in the way of his zestful spirit. You may not see him outrunning the young pups at the park, but rest assured, he gets around just fine. He may need some arthritis management in his new home, however we are more than happy to help out with that!
Mack's recent bloodwork shows he is entering his golden years, with some slight changes in his organs typical for his age. As his new companions, you’d want to monitor these signs every 3-6 months to ensure he remains the happy, healthy Mack we all love. Despite these slight changes, he's just as spirited and full of love as ever.
Being a Chihuahua, Mack is naturally prone to dental disease. There might come a time when he needs a little dental work. But don’t let this discourage you. Mack’s sunny personality and infectiously happy spirit make him worth every bit of extra care!
Mack’s charismatic and lively nature would light up any home. If you're willing to provide the occasional vet visit and tons of love, Mack could be a happy and delightful addition to your home. He's got a few grey hairs, sure, but with age comes wisdom, loyalty, and a heart full of love.
