Kevin (Trevor)

My friends call me Trevor. I’m a handsome senior gentleman looking for a loving and peaceful retirement home with humans to dote on. I have a gentle soul and get along well with other dogs and people. I don't jump up on you, but I might pull on the lead when I get excited. I’ll readily sit and await instructions, and I even know how to shake paws. While I’m used to being an outdoor dog, I love spending as much time with you as possible - I'm just not 100% housetrained.

I've had my vet checkup, and as expected, I have a few age-related quirks. Most of my teeth are worn down, and my gums have overgrown them, but there's no sign of infection, and the vet hasn't recommended any extractions. I have some stiffness in my joints, but it doesn’t stop me from getting around or jumping into the car for a drive. I'm also not desexed, but given my age, I'm not overly fertile and don't have much testosterone left, so doc said there's no need to undergo surgery for it.

I came into care very skinny, but I love my meals and treats, so I’ll be back to peak handsomeness in no time. I can't believe how lucky I am to have been rescued from the pound, and I’m so grateful for this second chance. Now, all I ask is for a family to see my sad eyes and fall in love with an old guy like me. If you give me a chance, I promise to give you all my love and devotion for the rest of my days.-

All animals are health checked, vaccinated, worm/flea treated, microchipped, desexed and registered with Gladstone Council.
