Sookie

Sookie is a unique and special 7 yr old Kelpie who has spent time in our care since January. She is looking for a patient and understanding home that will help her thrive to her full potential. Sookie has a complex history and finds it challenging to be in the shelter environment. Thankfully, our dedicated staff have been taking her home for respite, where she has truly been enjoying her days in the comfort of a loving home. Sookie is an independant and hands-off kind of girl who prefers to avoid contact with people initially. However, once she feels comfortable, she becomes quite affectionate. If you have patience and love to spare, then Sookie would make the perfect addition to your home.
