About Jas
Meet Jas, a 3-year and 3-month-old Blue Heeler with an adorable face and a sweet disposition. Jas is a female with a medium energy level, requiring daily exercise to stay happy and healthy. She's a true snuggler and quite affectionate, making her a delightful companion for quiet evenings at home.
Jas is fine walking past other dogs but prefers not to engage in face-to-face greetings, showing that while she's social, she values her personal space. She can be a bit yappy and has lots of personality, traits that reflect her intelligence and active mind. Currently, Jas finds the shelter environment stressful, and she has shown sensitivity to being touched around her neck and back, which can sometimes lead to nippiness.
The ideal home for Jas would be with a confident, patient, and experienced dog owner, preferably someone familiar with the quirks and demands of Blue Heelers. She is more comfortable around female handlers and takes a bit more time to warm up to men, so understanding and respecting her comfort levels will be key in building a trusting relationship.
Jas is not suited for homes with children under 13 due to her specific needs for space and gentle handling. She's looking for a loving owner who can provide her with the stability and affection she craves. If you have experience with her breed and are looking for a loyal and loving companion, Jas might just be the perfect dog for you. Come meet her and let her sweet face win your heart!
And yes I do have a resting worried face :)
