About Summer
Summer is the most adorable senior citizen with the fluffiest of butts! This little pocket rocket will delightfully wiggle her way into your heart and home if you give her the chance.
She’s a charming, sassy minx that loves to play and is very affectionate – once she trusts you.
Her long coat requires regular grooming, but she’s previously had this requirement neglected and as a result became quite matted, which in turn resulted in her not being a fan of the dog brush. She is slowly getting better at tolerating formal grooming and handling, but needs a patient and understanding hand to help her.
Summer tends to prefer her own company to that of other dogs, though she may be tempted if there was an awesome fellow canine that wasn’t too pushy and respected her space. She isn’t a fan of smaller breeds or cats and other small pets.
As an older girl, she will need a new family willing to accommodate the needs of a senior but still spicy dog. Summer needs a secure yard and a family to spoil her in her twilight years.
Summer will need:
* any children to be at least in their teens
* a home as an only dog or with a calm tolerant male dog of similar size
* no cats, pocket pets or other animals
* daily walks, always on lead
* a reasonable sized yard with grass areas and an undercover area for shelter
* fences and gates will need to be secure and at least 6 foot high
* Arctic breed experience, preferably with Husky ownership, is required.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET ALL SUMMER’S REQUIREMENTS
