Thunder

Hi I’m Thunder, I’m a very independent boy but love to play with everyone. I love pats and cuddles and being the centre of attention.

I'm great with other dogs, If the other dog doesn’t want to play I will yell at them but leave them alone. I Love to play rough with my siblings and the small dogs in my foster home, but I’m learning social cues and when they’ve had enough. I’m untested with cats but have shown signs that I may chase them. It’s important that I’m taught boundaries and have supervised time while first around any in the home. I currently chase the chickens but I’m learning to behave better around them, but still need to be supervised.

I would do fine as any only pet provided that I have plenty of mental stimulation to keep me occupied. I currently sleep outside in a pen with my siblings, spending my days outside in the yard for playtime, inside in the lounge room for resting and in my pen when my foster family are out. I wouldn’t mind being in a home with children, I can be quite jumpy still so will need further training to ensure I learn correct behaviours. I love playing with my stuffed moose and squeaky chicken.

Like any puppy, I am full of energy. I’m not doing too bad with my basic training I am smart but can be stubborn so regular training is a must for me. I can be high energy at times but when I’m tired, I love to snuggle up and have a nap. I have shown some food aggression towards other dogs when coming to eat out of my bowl, it’s recommended I’m supervised or separated to eat.

I'm doing great with my toileting training and have no accidents inside.
