Archio - 2 Year Old Jack Russell X (Trial)

Archio is a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier and weighs 11.5kg. He is typical of his breed and is a very energetic, happy dog. He is charming and super friendly with a gentle nature that will win you over immediately. He has come to us from a very loving home environment and has been very well looked after.

He is most happiest when given companionship which he craves, and always needs to know where you are. He is very attentive and will look you in the eye to try to understand your conversation. He does enjoy down time as well, and gives the most incredible cuddles as he snuggles into you on the lounge day or night.

He enjoys his morning and afternoon walks. Games and adventures are also essential to keep him stimulated and happy. We take him for runs on the beach on a long lead to give him the freedom to run with the bigger dogs which he loves. He has good recall and will come, sit and shake hands.

He loves to meet other dogs and if they are up to it will play and wrestle. He is fine with other dogs in the home environment although does like to be the one getting all the pats and attention. Archio would make a wonderful watchdog and will give his opinion on loud neighbourhood noises or visitors at the door.

A large fenced yard would be ideal which would allow him to run and explore and satisfy his urge to hunt. He has not been tested with cats.

He has no issues travelling in the car where he is secured on the back seat hammock.

He sleeps inside in his crate at night and is fully house trained. He is proficient at using the dog door flap.

Archio is the perfect companion for an active/busy family with older children who would be willing to give him all his necessary requirements and continue with his training. This little boy will return the love and devotion in bucket loads and will become an awesome part of your family. He is not the breed for you if you expect him to sit on the couch all day.

Archio is in foster care in Valentine, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle), and is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $600 and he is microchipped, desexed, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms.
