About Athena

Gorgeous girl Athena is a bundle of energy and affection! Her bright green eyes give her a curious and thoughtful look, which perfectly matches her name.
As energetic and adventurous as most cats her age, she loves to follow a bouncy play session with a nice snooze on the couch - especially if you're beside her!
While Athena can be a bit startled by loud noises and sudden movements, she's generally quick to relax again, and it doesn't take her long to bond with new people.
Like all Maggie's pets, Athena is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a single human, couple or family who's a bit like me, really! You'll be a fan of cuddling and playing games, and adore it when I snuggle up on your lap and get as close to you as possible :) My foster mum reckons I deserve all the love and attention in the world - could you be my special someone?
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm the perfect mix of lazy and active! I do love to play, but snuggles are just as good.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I don't have much experience with kids, but I tend to get comfortable with people quickly if they're kind to me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: As above :) There's every chance I'd enjoy living with a friendly pet or two.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
