About April
*In foster care in Bondi Beach, Sydney*
Sweet senior April wants nothing more than a loving home she can call her own!
This precious lady ADORES cuddles and being as close to her special human as possible. As happy sunbathing on the floor as she is in your lap, she has a mighty purr and will chirp to get your attention - especially if you slack off with the pats!
Holding hands is another of April's favourite activities, involving gently placing her paws on your hand to let you know she'd like a bit of a head scratch or a kiss.
Supremely confident by nature, April doesn't take long to get comfortable with new people or places - coming on strong with the smooches within minutes of first meeting you! And don't let her age fool you - she's got lots of oopmh left in her, and she's very young at heart :)
Like all Maggie's pets, April is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be full of snuggles! That's my number-one need in life, and everything else is gravy :) Maybe you're retired or work from home, so I can spend lots of time with you? You might even have some gentle kiddos for me to make friends with.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm not a total couch potato, but seeing as cuddles and sunbeam naps are my top priorities you might not see me running around too much! Unless I'm following you into another room, of course.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Not sure, as I haven't met any little humans since arriving in foster care, but my personality is likely well-suited to family life!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've had no experience with other pets, so it's hard to say.
Medical notes
Age-related Blindness in right eye.
Recent bloodwork indicated she was healthy and well.
April has had previous dental extractions so no need to worry about future dental costs.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
