🐾 Personality:
Yoda is the sweetest little girl. If you're looking for a companion who offers nothing but the purest love, the snuggliest cuddles, and the cutest little kisses, along with the BIGGEST bum wiggles you’ve ever seen whenever she sees you, then Yoda is your girl! One of her favorite places to be is either sprawled out at your feet after rolling over or snuggled up with you on the couch for family movie night. She’s like your very own cuddly, soft plush toy!
Yoda has a very calm and relaxed demeanour by nature. She has no destructive tendencies that we’ve seen or come across to date, and she’s toilet-trained, so she’ll let you know when she needs to go out, rather than leaving you to find a puddle and wonder if there's a leak in the ceiling.
She’s great with guests and meeting new people. In her eyes, more people simply mean more pats and more love to share around. She’s also great and safe around kids! The wiggle bum comes out whenever she sees them or is around them. She just wants to meet them and say hello! She seems to get along well with other dogs too. She is in care with a male Kelpie, and the two of them are the best of friends.
Just a single 1-hour walk a day (minimum) will suffice for this girl. She has lots of energy, but we’re very grateful that she tires quite easily and gets all the zoomies and any excess energy out through a walk.
🎓 Training:
As mentioned earlier, Yoda is toilet-trained and knows to go outside. She lets us know by waiting patiently right in front of the door until we let her out to do her business. If she goes unnoticed, she’ll give a little bark (depending on how badly she needs to go!).
She has significantly improved in crate training since she first arrived. She is learning to be content on her own for longer periods during the day and will need someone to continue this training.
When it comes to leash walking, Yoda is a breeze. She sometimes sways left to right, but she doesn't pull on the leash at all, making it an amazing, stress-free walk that you can enjoy as well!
🏠 Perfect Home:
She would be well-suited to a family with another dog but would also do well with a family without one if they are home regularly to spend time with her. She is looking for a home that has the time to continue her ongoing exercise, training & mental stimulation to help her thrive.
Love & licks!
