🐕Meet Marlie!🐕
🐾 Marlie is a beautiful, soft-natured Maremma mix who’s looking for a patient and understanding home to call her own. While she may take a little time to warm up to new people, her sweet and gentle personality shines through once she’s comfortable. Marlie tends to hang back from strangers but, with time, she’ll show her affectionate side as she absolutely adores her foster family and their kids. This lovely girl is currently reliant on another dog for guidance, so she would thrive in a home with an older, confident dog who can help her navigate new situations.
🎓 Marlie has great manners—she’s toilet trained, crate trained, and waits patiently for her meals. She’s also mastered basic commands like “sit,” “drop,” and “wait,” and her recall is strong. However, like many Maremmas, she will benefit from ongoing obedience training to continue building her confidence and reinforcing her skills.
🏠 Marlie is not suited to a suburban backyard and would prefer a home with ample space to roam and a male dog —an acreage or larger property would be ideal for her to feel truly comfortable. A quiet, spacious environment will help her thrive and allow her to enjoy her independent, yet loving, nature.
If you're an experienced dog owner with the time and space to provide Marlie with the life she deserves, we’d love to hear from you. She’s a sweet soul who, with a little patience, will reward you with loyalty and love. With the right family, Marlie will blossom into a confident and loving companion, ready to share her affection and gentle nature.🐾❤️
