About Roy
Roy has a beautiful sweet nature, he is a big sooky goofball at heart but also very protective of his family and home. He is a great guard dog and lets his humans know if anyone/thing is around.
He is quite good on the lead (does get a little distracted with birds and new smells). He loves going to the beach and running/playing with the other dogs. He love’s playing on the shoreline but not swimming so much.
Roy is currently living in the suburbs with a mature dog who he looks to for comfort. He must go to a home with another dog to continue to help build his confidence. He gets along well with other dogs on the beach & loves to be chased.
He has very good recall and never wandered far from view of his foster family. He has become very good socially but can still be a little wary of new people at first. He loves his food and has been taught to sit/stay/wait for his dinner.
His basic commands of sit, stay, come & no are quite good.
Overall he is just gorgeous and will be a very loyal boy to a loving owner.
Medical notes
I am not yet desexed. We do not desex puppies until they are at minimum 24-weeks-of-age. All pups must be desexed by 26-weeks-of-age unless under vet advice in writing. You will need to sign a contract agreeing to desexing by the due date.
If we have a vet in the adopters area, (eg. mid north coast & northern rivers area) we offer a desexing voucher, if not then we will refund you the amount we pay our vet for desexing once the adopter sends a desexing certificate.
All our dogs/pups are microchipped, vaccinated and have received parasite prevention.
