About Ragu
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Hey friends 👋 This handsome little gentleman is our newest arrival Ragu and he's on the lookout for his new forever home.
Sadly Ragu's owner could no longer afford to live in her apartment by herself and was forced to move back in with her parents, whose home unfortunately was not cat friendly.
So Ragu was given to a friend to look after indefinitely until his owner was able to get back on her feet. But unfortunately the friend had a change of heart after a couple months and decided they could no longer look after Ragu. So his owner made the tough decision to reach out to us to find him a new home.
He comes from a happy and loving household where he was adored.
Ragu is sweet, gentle, affectionate and loves people. He has a very kind nature and always likes to be around you. He loves to curl up in bed next to you and makes a great couch mate when its time to binge your favorite TV show.
He is very playful and loves to chase around his wand toys. He also loves to play fetch with little rolled up balls of foil. If you thrown one he will chase it down and bring it back every time.
He can be a bit of a princess however when it comes to his kitty litter. If he has used it previously and you haven't been quick enough to remove the soiled litter he will refuse to use his tray and pee on the floor next to it. So whoever is lucky enough to adopt this little guy will need to be very vigilant on litter patrol :)
Ragu is not used to living with other cats so we would love to find him a home where he is the only feline.
Ragu is approximately 20 months old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.
Located in Seaford with one of our amazing foster carers.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
