Hello! I’m Bofur, a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a strikingly handsome appearance and a big, friendly personality to match. I’m a gorgeous, big cat who’s as charming as I am affectionate.

I might be large in size, but my heart is even bigger. I love lounging around and being near you, though I’m not much of a lap cat. I appreciate having some control over how I’m touched, so I prefer a consent-based approach to ensure I feel comfortable and in control.

I’m a sweet boy who enjoys existing in your presence rather than being held or cuddled constantly. I’d do best in a home with no children under 15, and it would be wonderful if my new owners are familiar with cat body language and needs. I’m currently on behavior medication to help me adjust to new environments, as I’ve found the shelter to be a bit overwhelming.
