Meet Joshua,

This sweet boy has been on a bit of a journey at the RSPCA after arriving many moons ago. Joshua was brought to the shelter extremely shutdown and unwell, in the care of the veterinary team before being cleared to enter the Cattery. Untrusting and very frightened, Joshua took a long time to learn that these people weren't going to hurt him, and took even longer to realise that we give him great things!
Joshua has been in foster care learning how to live in a home, and we can say with certainty that this boy never wants to be on the streets again! He has a sweet (and occasionally demanding) meow, the best purr, and gives the greatest headbutts known to man. He has a long, thick coat and really loves to be brushed, which is great because he is prone to matting.

Joshua needs a calm and quiet home without young children or other animals, he will require weeks to settle in before he'll venture out of his safe space, but promises to reward your patience with him by being your bestest friend. He looooves chin scratches, gives the most powerful headbutts, and loves sleeping on your bed with you. His foster carer says that once he's given the opportunity to settle, he will literally sleep curled up in your arms. What a darling.
He would really suit a home with only one or two people, and someone who works from home would be an added bonus.
