Indigo

Hi there! My name is Indigo, and I'm a delightful Domestic Medium Hair cat with a soft, velvety coat that’s just begging for gentle strokes. I'm only a year old, but I've already had my fair share of challenges. I had to have one of my legs amputated when I first came into care, but that hasn't slowed me down one bit. I get around just fine, and I’m always up for cuddles and affection.

One of my favorite things to do is gaze at my humans with adoring eyes. I love to sit close and purr contentedly as I take in all the love and warmth around me. I had a gingival trim recently to help with some gum issues, so I’ll need a bit of extra care to keep my teeth and gums in tip-top shape. I promise, though, that I'm worth every bit of attention and care!

I take a medication called Gabapentin to help me stay calm and collected, especially with all the changes and activities in the shelter. It helps me feel more at ease and lets me focus on being my sweet, loving self.

I’m looking for a special human or family who understands that I might need a bit of extra care but who also has a lot of love to give. If you think you could be the one to offer me a forever home, where I can shower you with my loving stares and gentle purrs, I’d be over the moon.
