About Hank
Little Hank – also answers to Mr Hanky Panky Man and Hank The Tank is ready for meets.
In case you haven’t noticed he is an adorable little mini dachshund.
Hank is a natural redhead and still just a baby at 1 year old.
Foster mums very detailed notes advise potential forever families :
1. He is Extremely handsome!
2. An absolute ball of cuteness and a bundle of fun
3. 4kg of happiness and typical Dashie bravado.
4. He's a smart boy
5. Hasn't showed any aggression
6. Very much needs to be an Indoor dog
7. He has had a few toilet accidents in the house the first few days but soon learned where to go
8. He does not like to be shut in a crate.....!
9. He will go into an open crate for some time out for himself though
10. Great on the lead - we've used a harness.
11. Sometimes he has a 'chat' to a passing dog but he's pretty friendly when you say hello
12. Great traveller in the car...but not shut in a crate
13. Has been good sharing space with a larger dog, his foster brother is 25kg
14. He's very vocal when food is getting prepared - likes to chat to you to let you know he's there!
15. Treats have been given in the same space as our dog, and he's been good. He even settles when we are eating meals, like his foster brother, which in the short space of time has been good
16. Not cat tested but had a bit of a bark at the cats at the vet
17. Unsure about kids...as we don't have them!
18. He is very social. Has loved everyone he's met, not aggressive, very affectionate - the vets were most impressed!
19. Typical Dashie barking traits....with repetitive, food rewarded training some of that can be decreased, I'm sure.
20. Loves playing with the toys, especially the ones with a squeak!
21. An absolute sun worshipper, and will lie down wherever the rays are shining.
22. He does bark at lots of different noises, again, that may settle once he's settled and is more sure of his surroundings. He also barks at his own reflection and sometimes at the TV.
23. He hasn't chewed anything, he's very good in the house.
24. He would suit someone that is home - not sure how he will be home alone (most Dashies dont like that....).
25. He's a good lap dog, and loves a snuggle but also loves to trot around his domain and playing with his toys
Hank is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested and up to date with his flea and worm treatments.
His adoption fee is $895 and he is in foster care at Baringa on the Sunshine Coast.
Okay pens and pencils at the ready ( or keyboards and phones for the teccie ones out there) – if you think you are a great match for this precious little man, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life you can offer him.
We do expect there to be quite some interest in Hank so please do take some time to sell yourself – his foster mum will only invite the best matches for a meet.
