About 7545 - Lion
š¦š¤ MEET LION š¤š¦
Hello human! I'm Lion, have you got a bowl of Fancy Feast I can faceplant directly into and inhale in 30 seconds please?
Nature
I am a distinguished young gentleman! Not much is known about my time on the mean streets, except that I was found in a storm drain, very skinny and with not much fur, though I quickly became accustomed to the luxuries of home life that I so richly deserve, and now sport a full silken mane and extremely fluffy tail.
My hobbies include sitting next to you and purring, staring at you with the burning intensity of a thousand suns while you are in the kitchen (you're there to get me some food, right?) and occasionally play-biting you on the hand for absolutely no reason. I have mostly grown out of this last hobby, and I've always been careful to be gentle about it and not hurt you, but I thought I'd better be upfront with you so you're not too surprised if I'm ever in one of those moods again!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
As far as other cats go, I have lived with several others and I suppose I'll allow their presence. I generally prefer human company but I'm still happy to chill in the same room with another cat, as long as they aren't getting too much more attention than me.
It's unknown how well I get along with dogs, the ones I've seen at the vet sure seem scary - but perhaps given a slow introduction to a gentle pupper, I could get used to them as long as they are willing to accept that I am, in fact, the boss.
I'm probably most suitable to a home that's either child-free or with older children, since I am still a little bit on the skittish side and may give a warning swipe if startled by overly boisterous little humans.
My foster human loves me very much and wanted to keep me but was unable due to financial constraints - but she definitely recognises my majestic splendour and just knows I'll be a perfect addition to your home!
Likes / Dislikes
I am very food motivated! I also like peace and quiet, and may become stressed in a very noisy home.
My PURR-fect home would be in an only cat household or with other cats who are laid-back and won't make me feel threatened. Iād prefer a mature home with older children or just adults.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

7545 - Lion

Colour: Tabby
DOB: 03/12/2019
Adoption Fee: $150
Lionās adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination*, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Lion has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Lion will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
Lion has Gingivitis which is inflammation of the gums. Lion had a dental scale and polish in July 2023 and July 2024 which did not require extractions. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout his life. Lion will need his teeth checked at his annual vaccination. He may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. He may need teeth extracted in the future.
