About Cheeto - Located in Coburg
Congratulations, you have found the best cat in the whole wide world!!! Look no further because Cheeto is here and is looking for his new best friend forever.
Cheeto is an awesome little dude that will most definitely steal your heart and probably your food too. He is a ball of fun, always entertaining and ridiculously goofy. This big ginger boofhead boy has the softest husky sounding meows and the sweetest nature.
Playing, food and people are his favourite things, closely followed by snoozing. Cheeto is very playful and loves rough and tumble games with his cat friends. He also enjoys climbing the giant scratching tower and kicking around his birdie toys. Cheeto earns bonus points for tolerating dress-ups, his foster carer thinks this helps him to express his quirky and relaxed personality.
When Cheeto has tired himself out from a play session, he will curl up on your lap for a comforting snooze, often putting his little white mittens on you as if to say 'stay here, I love you'.
Simply put, Cheeto is just perfect - an enchanting combination of fun, charm, and love. He will flourish in a home where his engaging personality and appetite for affection will be nurtured. Cheeto's easy going style would suit most homes with or without other pets. Cheeto likes his cat friends to enjoy wrestling play just like him so another confident cat would likely suit him best.
If you're looking for a forever friend who can provide laughter, love, and a lot of snuggly nap times, then Cheeto might be your purrfect match. Apply online at http://www.neko.org.au/adoption-application/
Medical notes
Cheeto has an ongoing medical condition called Pododermatitis or Pillow Foot. It causes excessive inflammation of the paw pads (basically his toe beans are extra squishy and sensitive). He has received a long course of prednisolone and antibiotics as well as a course of laser therapy to help reduce the inflammation in his paw pads. Cheeto needs to be an indoor only cat as his paws may become easily damaged if he goes outside on rocky ground. After finishing his treatment, Cheeto's inflammation has subsided but it may flare again at any time during his life, requiring another course of laser therapy and/or medications. We recommend regularly looking at Cheeto's paws to monitor for any signs of swelling and a visit to the vet as soon as this occurs.
Cheeto has also had some skin allergies in the past which has been easily managed with a controlled diet. He currently eat Royal Canin Indoor Adult wet and dry food.
