Introducing Bentley, a 12 year-old Cattle x Staffy blend that sports a heart as golden as his red golden coat. This noble gent may be in his older years, but don't let his age fool you. Bentley still enjoys life to the fullest and is full of energy and love to share.
His carer says he is an excellent dog in the home, giving one back to let you know someone is at the door. But then obediently goes outdoors when given the command. Such a good boy.
Bentley is an intriguing blend of Cattle Dog and Staffy. He's an average-weight fellow, tipping the scales at 26 kg, and has all the hallmarks of a happy, healthy boy. His vaccinations are up to date, he's desexed, and he even sports a microchip to ensure he never loses his way home.
Bentley is a very social dog that loves being around humans. Older kids are his favourite - he appreciates their calm energy but is gracious enough to tolerate the rowdier ones too. When it comes to other dogs, Bentley can be a bit choosy about his friends. It seems that he gets along better with certain breeds, so he might be better to be an only dog or with a canine companion he gets along with.
We're unsure how Bentley feels about cats. He hasn’t been tested around them, so it would be wise to implement a slow introduction until we know more about how he might live with a feline.
Bentley's ideal accommodations would have a properly secure fence to guarantee his safety while still allowing him the freedom to explore. Ideally, his new home would be in a peaceful neighbourhood or a similar setting where he can enjoy his golden years in tranquility.
Bentley's adoption fee is $395, a small price to pay for a lifetime of wagging tails and wet-nose kisses. His adoption fee helps us continue to save and support other needy animals.
If you're the lucky individual or family Bentley is waiting for, apply today. This handsome, loyal and loving senior dog is waiting to meet you! He's a beautiful dog with a heart full of love and a tale full of wags. Bentley can't wait to start his new chapter with a family who will love him for who he is.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
