About Kylo
Meet Kylo, a spirited and charming 2-year and 7-month-old male Siberian Husky mix who's ready to bring joy and adventure into your life. Kylo is not just a handsome face; he's also house trained and loves being inside with his family, making him an ideal companion for those cozy indoor moments.
Kylo's friendly nature shines through in his interactions with other dogs. He's a social butterfly who would be thrilled to have a canine companion at home or to embark on outings to meet new furry friends. His playful demeanor and boundless energy make him a hit with dogs and people alike. Kids who are comfortable with bouncy dogs will find Kylo to be an enthusiastic and entertaining playmate.
This active boy thrives on exploration and adventure. Whether it's a hike in the woods, a run in the park, or a playful romp in the backyard, Kylo is always up for some fun. His need for daily exercise is matched by his love for discovering new sights and scents, making him an excellent partner for an active family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities.
Kylo's affectionate and sociable personality means he loves being around people. He has a special knack for bringing smiles to faces with his cheeky antics and chatty nature. Conversations with Kylo are always lively, as he loves to "talk" and express himself in his unique way.
While Kylo is already a wonderful dog, training is recommended to help him polish his skills and manners. He's a quick learner and eager to please, making training sessions a great opportunity to bond and build a strong relationship. With a bit of guidance, Kylo will surely become an even more fantastic companion.
If you're searching for a lively, loving, and loyal dog who will fill your days with laughter and adventure, look no further than Kylo. He's ready to find his forever home where he can share his zest for life and bring endless joy to those around him.
To book a meet and greet with Kylo please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
