Hi! I’m Bartholemew, a 4-year-old Domestic Medium Hair with a gorgeous, fluffy coat that’s as soft as it looks. I’m a very pretty cat with a sweet personality, though I’ve had a few bumps along the way. I came into the shelter with a broken leg, but don’t worry—I’ve had surgery to fix it up. I might have a bit of an odd gait, but it doesn’t slow me down too much. I’m still as charming and affectionate as ever!

I’m also on gabapentin, a behavior medication that helps me manage some past issues with inappropriate urination. It turns out this was due to behavioral reasons, so I’ll need a home where my environment is kept low-stress to help me stay comfortable and happy. An experienced owner who knows how to read cat behavior and can keep an eye on my stress levels will be ideal.

I might also benefit from long-term behavioral medication and being the only cat in the household, as this helps me feel secure and reduces anxiety.
