About Xylie
Meet Xylie, a beautiful 1-year and 11-month-old female Samoyed/Siberian Husky mix who is looking for her forever home. With her striking blue eyes and fluffy white coat, Xylie is sure to turn heads wherever she goes. But it's not just her looks that make her special-Xylie has a wonderful personality to match.
Xylie is house trained and loves being inside with her family, making her a great indoor companion. She adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with another canine friend to play with. Whether it's romping in the yard or heading out on new adventures, Xylie is always eager to make new friends. Her playful nature and love for exploration make her an ideal partner for outdoor activities and daily exercise.
In addition to her love for dogs, Xylie has also lived with cats and did well with them. However, a slow introduction to any new feline friends is recommended to ensure they get along. Xylie is also great with kids who are okay with bouncy dogs. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and she'll bring endless joy and laughter to any home with children who can match her playfulness.
Xylie's love for people is evident in her affectionate and friendly demeanor. She thrives on human interaction and enjoys being the center of attention. Training is recommended to help her channel her energy positively and reinforce good behavior. Fortunately, Xylie's massive love for food makes her highly trainable and eager to learn new tricks.
In summary, Xylie is an active, playful, and loving dog who would make a wonderful addition to any family. She needs a home where she can get plenty of exercise, companionship, and training to help her become the best dog she can be. If you're looking for a loyal and fun-loving furry friend, Xylie is the perfect choice. Give her the chance to fill your home with love, laughter, and adventure!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
