About Freya
Say hello to the energetic, intelligent, and lovable Freya!
Freya has been doing really well with her training, picking up new tricks, commands, and instructions quickly. Training Freya has shown she is not only smart, but also eager to please her humans.
Freya is an ideal companion for families who live an active lifestyle and for those with older kids. Her boundless energy and playful nature will make her a lively addition to households that are busy with activity. Freya is perfectly suited for life on a property where she can burn off her energy exploring and playing.
Freya is an adorable pup who can't wait to bring joy and happiness to her new family!
If you think Freya is the dog you’ve been looking for, please contact our Shelter Manager Yvette on 0421 831 128 for more information, or to organise a meeting with Freya.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
