Introducing the most magnificent giant in the shelter Darth Vader!!

Vader came into the shelter as a stray and as he required desexing his previous owner decided they did not want him anymore and elected to surrender him instead. Their loss is your gain though as this boy is a gem of a dog!

Vader is a big boy and by that I mean he resembles a giant black bear and still has room to grow. He lacks basic skills and manners and at times struggles to keep all four feet on the ground but he's highly intelligent and food motivated so will learn very quickly once he receives consistent training. If you've ever thought about training a dog for high level obedience or rally o Vader is the dog for you. While he has the potential to compete to a high level he would also be just as happy being someone's best friend providing he gets plenty mental enrichment as well as exercise.

He's super sweet and friendly but young and very strong so we think he would be best suited to a home with teenagers or older. In the shelter he has been fairly dog friendly so he might be suitable to live with another dog but please make sure you bring any resident doggos with you for a meet and greet.
