Attention all dog lovers, meet Oscar! This handsome Schnauzer is only 2 years old and weighs a healthy 11 kg. His well-groomed coat and loving gaze will instantly captivate your heart.
Oscar has all his medical needs attended to; he is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed. This makes him as fit as a fiddle and ready for a new family to shower him with love. He is sociable and enjoys the company of other dogs, so he could easily fit into a home with multiple pets. His interaction with cats remains untested, but Oscar has a friendly demeanour, so future introductions to felines could be a possibility, but also we know he doesn’t like the bin chickens or bush turkeys .
Oscar is great with children and welcomes their rough and tumble play. His boundless energy makes him the perfect play companion for kids of all ages. He requires a normal secure fence, as he likes to explore enthusiastically, especially in a place filled with new, exciting smells.
Currently located in Red Hill, Oscar is searching for a family who will value him as the beautiful and loving bundle of joy that he is. With a small adoption fee, you can add this furry friend to your family, providing him all the love and care he deserves.
This playful pooch is up for all kinds of fun. If you think Oscar could be the perfect addition to your family, don't hesitate to take the leap. His charming personality, playful spirit, and undeniable love are sure to add unparalleled joy to your family for many years to come. Bring Oscar home today!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
