About Tansie
Meet Tansie, an affectionate and lively 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who is sure to bring many moments of joy into your life. With a sparkling personality that radiates love for life, Tansie is a prize companion eager to share her life with people who will nurture and understand her needs.
Whilst Tansie may take a moment to fully blossom, once settled, her outgoing nature shines through. She quickly turns into a spirited and loving girl who has no shortage of affection to share. An attention seeker at heart, Tansie would jump up and occasionally bark, just to let you know she's up for some fun!
Tansie's favourite pastimes are spending time with her people, enjoying delicious treats, and soaking up adoring pats. She's always ready to light up the room with her sweetness and sass. Her love for people and her outgoing nature once she feels comfortable makes everyone fall in love with her.
Even though she needs a bit of lead and basic training, with a touch of patience, a pinch of treats, and a dash of love, she'll surely master all your commands in no time.
She's brilliant when it comes to establishing connections with other canines, preferably those of her own size. Tansie dreams of a home where she can have a fellow doggy friend to keep her company and play with. As for cats, she is easily intrigued and might give a chase, so, a house with no cats would be more suitable.
Tansie, with her sweet nature and zest for life, is longing for a family that will embrace her loving persona and charm. Medical notes
When Tansie came to us, it was noted that she had a grade 3/4 medially luxating patella. She underwent surgical repair for this issue and now has normal gait and has passed her vet check.
She also underwent a dental scale and clean with two extractions under GA.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
