About Alba
Alba is a delightful 17-week-old Kelpie girl, ready to capture your heart! Her sleek black and tan coat is just the beginning—there’s so much more to Alba:
With a playful spirit and natural herding instincts, Alba is highly intelligent and eager to please. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys the rough and tumble of play. Alba sleeps soundly in her crate overnight, she is well on her way to being fully toilet trained and her off switch is great for such a young girl.
Alba’s training journey is well underway. She’s attentive, a quick learner, and always ready for the next adventure. She would love a spacious backyard where she can stretch her legs and explore the garden. Quality time with her foster dog sibling and cuddles with her humans are high on her priority list.
Confidence radiates from Alba. She’s up for any challenge, making her an excellent candidate for work or sport. When her humans are away, she quietly sits outside, patiently waiting for their return. While she can be a bit wriggly, older, dog-savvy kids will find her irresistible.
Alba’s ideal family understands working breeds and appreciates her mental and physical needs. Whether she has an older doggy sibling or is an only dog, Alba thrives when included in everyday life.
So, if you’re skilled in the art of cuddles, Alba awaits your application. She’s a smart, spirited girl who’s ready to play her way into your heart!

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
