Meet Dutchess!

This sweet young girl was surrendered to the shelter after her owner could no longer care for her. While she may be a little reserved upon first meeting, with some patience she will be the best friend you could ever imagine.

Dutchess has been meeting lots of new dogs and people alike while in our care, and just like with humans, not all dogs are going to love each other. Dutchess would definitely enjoy the company of a furry companion, but will require you to bring your existing dog down to The Lost Dogs' Home she can see if the vibe is right!

Once she is comfortable she can be quite boisterous, and she doesn't seem to have learned her manners quite yet, so basic training is a must! She just goes crazy for some treats so this is a really good place to start with building her new skills.

Due to Dutchess having her blinders on when it comes to her zoomies and just not realising her size, we recommend that all kids in the home be 16 and over - or at least be dog-savvy so she doesn't bowl them over! It's not intentional, she's just a bit of a silly lady at the moment.

Being a husky, Dutchess has lots of energy and hopes her new family will involve her with lots of activities! Walking, running, throwing the ball, hikes, agility - she will do it all!

Dutchess hopes she will be able to find her forever home soon and so do we. A shelter is no place for such a wonderful lady to spend her days.
