Hello Everyone.... meet our chonk of a boy Rudi!

Rudi found himself in our care, with no family, looking for someone to love and a home to call his own!

At just 1-year-old Rudi's got the puppy energy in a big boys body, and forgets how big he is, he does everything at full speed and has a real zest for life! With this said, is still is a gentleman and we think he would be a wonderful addition to a home that has a big family, younger kids do not faze our Rudy, but he hopes they can all keep up with his fast pace. Rudi has shown really appropriate manners around other dogs and would also be very happy to share his home with another pup, pending a successful meet and greet!

Rudi needs some help with learning all his skills and tricks, so his future adopters should be committed to using force-free positive reinforcement techniques to assist him.

Additionally, Rudi LOVES his human friends, so much so that he would prefer a family who is home more often than not. However, it's important that Rudi's adopters help him learn that being alone is not scary. Our adoptions staff can run you through some independence training techniques that will help him with this. Enrichment toys such as lick mats and kongs are great ways to keep his mind busy!
