About Audrey
Name: Audrey
Age: 1 year and 1 month
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Staffy)
Personality: Sweet, loving, and energetic with a touch of anxiety
Description:
Audrey is a spirited young Staffy with a sleek, muscular build and bright eyes that reflect her hopeful nature. She adores people and thrives on attention and affection. Audrey's enthusiasm for life is contagious; she loves to explore and eagerly sniffs out every intriguing scent during her walks.
Ideal Home:
Audrey needs a special home where someone is around most of the time to keep her company and help her feel secure. She has a history of living with children and would be happy in a home with kids who are 6 years and older. Due to her anxiety, Audrey would benefit from a calm environment and patient owners who can provide the stability she craves.
Training:
Audrey is still a young dog and could do with some training to help her become more settled and confident. She responds well to positive reinforcement and enjoys learning new things. Training sessions can be a great way for Audrey to bond with her new family while channeling her energy in positive ways.
Socialization:
Audrey gets on well with other dogs and enjoys making new canine friends. She is social and loves to romp and play, making her an excellent companion for other dogs in the household or during playdates. However, she does not get along with cats and would do best in a home without them.
Daily Activities:
Audrey loves to explore and burn her energy through daily walks and adventures. She enjoys visiting parks, trails, and the beach, where she delights in splashing through the shallow waves. Despite her energy, Audrey also has a gentle side and loves to curl up next to her humans for quiet moments of affection.
Conclusion:
Audrey is a loving and loyal companion who is ready to find her forever home. She needs a family who will embrace her quirks, provide the attention she loves, and help her navigate her anxiety with patience and understanding. In return, Audrey will fill her new home with joy, love, and endless adventures.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
