About Rufus (63167)
Rufus is a very senior man who found himself lost and at GAWS. After having no owner come forward for him, Rufus is now looking for his next and last retirement home. Although Rufus is senior and may not have long left on this Earth, he is still vibrant and full of life! He loves people and would best suit a home with no children. Rufus does show signs that he may be going slightly deaf and can be a little clumsy due to a lack of spatial awareness. Rufus would prefer to be the only pet in the home to soak up all the attention! Rufus would need a home that can provide the very best for all the time he has left. He has been returned twice now because his adopters didn't give him the time he needed to settle and decompress. Rufus can not help that he cannot see properly and may knock things over trying to gauge his surroundings. With enough time to settle into the home and your routines, Rufus will make a great companion.
