About Banjo
Banjo is a loveable young dog. Coming into care he was a blank canvas with very minimal training and socialisation. Since coming into care his foster family have begun to train him how to walk on a lead, basic obedience, manners and begun to socialise him in the big wide world.
Banjo loves to be involved with family activity and join in on the adventure. At home he is always trying to convince his older foster sister (11 year old cattle dog) to play and when she declines the offer, he will happily throw around his tug toys waiting for someone to play.
So we can process your application as quickly as possible, please visit our website (https://www.workingpaws.com.au/application-questionnaire) and complete a questionnaire with as much detail as possible.
Banjo currently attends daycare on a farm with other dogs and continuing to fulfil his cattle dog needs in his new home is a must.
Banjo has begun to learn basic obedience and manners in his foster home. He enjoys walks and the opportunity to explore the world around him. Since he has had minimal socialisation he can be a little timid and unsure in new environments and his new home will need to carry on with his training including boundaries, socialisation and obedience.
This young dog loves to play and have fun. He is enjoying life in his new foster home spending time with his foster family, whether it be walking to school drop off, trips down the lake or watching the kids ride their bikes.
Banjo currently lives with 2x children aged 4 and 6 and another cattle dog.
Being a cattle dog, Banjo would thrive in a home with an experienced owner, opportunity to continue on with his training, learn new skills, and go on adventures with his family.
He has always lived with another dog and loves to play so a four-legged friend would be preferable
This beautiful boy with a love for life has certainly won over his foster family and will make a wonderful addition to his new home.
Medical notes
He has lax patella's so will need to remain an ideal weight (25-26kg).
Vet recommended supplements live green lipped muscle, 4cyte or antinol.
