tilly (f) and taj (m) are purebred bichon frise with pedigree papers. These darling 2. 5 year olds are brother and sister and must stay together. They are well-behaved, healthy, friendly and just delightful. . . . Tilly and taj play together and also love playing with other dogs. There are two other small dogs in their foster home and they all get along fine. Their foster mum has young grandchildren who visit a couple of times a week and tilly and taj are good with them. . . . Tilly and taj already have good basic obedience training (can sit, stay, heel, etc) and walk beautifully on a lead. They are very intelligent and eager to please and can learn lots more. They enjoy a variety of foods and adore chewy rawhide bones. . . . Tilly and taj were surrendered to dog rescue newcastle after their owner's got divorced. They bought tilly and taj as puppies from a breeder, who gave them pedigree papers. Taj (blue collar) is a wee bit taller than tilly (pink collar). . . . Tilly and taj must stay together because they have always been together since birth and look out for each other. Tilly would be lost without taj. Taj is more outgoing than tilly and loves everyone. Tilly is a little more shy and gains security from taj. She was pretty sad for the first week or two in her foster home but is more relaxed now. . . . Taj doesn't like it when his foster mum leaves, but we think this may be because of the upset of suddenly being in a new home. We expect that after he has been in his forever home a while he will start feeling secure and will become more relaxed when people have to leave the house. . . . When taj wants his neck rubbed, he throws his head way back, with his nose in the air exposing his neck for you to stroke. How can you refuse? it is just so adorable! check out their video to see taj at his most charming. . . . They have "poodle cuts" right now because they needed a shorter cut when we received them, but as their hair grows out they will look less poodle and more bichon frise. They have beautiful curly white coats which don’t shed. This means they don't leave fur in your house or on your clothes and it makes them better for people with allergies. However, their coats do require regular brushing, bathing and clipping. Professional clipping will cost around $50 per dog and will need to be done approximately every 3 months. You should be aware of this if you are considering a non-shedding dog. . . . Tilly and taj are best suited to a forever home where someone is home most of the time. They don't require a large yard but, like all dogs, they need a walk every day.
