About Jelly
Jelly is a sweet engaging girl who loves to keep up with her humans and be a part of all they are up to during the day. This includes her walks, hanging out on the couch, on her bed in the corner while you are working or coming with you on your errands. Jelly is a social girl who likes to catch up wth neighbours and family.
Like most greys, Jelly is happy to nap for most of the day but does like time with her toys and playing with her human.
Jelly is a hoarder, so you may find your shoes have found a new home in her bed in the morning. She also likes to help with the recycling by tearing paper and cardboard.
Jelly is comfortable on her walks and interacts with other dogs well. Jelly would be happy to share her home with another dog or as an only dog provided her humans are home more often than not.
Jelly is a sleek black beauty with dainty white socks drawing the attention of admirers which she totally encourages.
Jelly has been in an adopted home for 18 months. For no fault of her own she has come back into our care as her family’s circumstances have changed and they can no longer provide her with the stable home life she deserves.
No cats or small dogs
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog
No children under six

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
