About Ned
Hi! My name is Ned, and I am a big and friendly super-smoocher! My foster mum says that she's very lucky to have me because I have a whole lot of love to give.
Although I'm a little shy to start with, it doesn't take me long to trust you and then shower you with my special head bumps and kisses. I love exploring my surroundings and following my foster mum around the house as she does all her chores. She says they're boring, but I love watching her iron, cook, and tidy up after her human family. When I can, I love to help her clean my litter, add bickies to my bowl and then remind her that a serve of wet food would go down a treat: yes it's fair to say that I really enjoy my food, and if you have any squeezy treats lying around, I'm always happy to remind you that I'm partial to them, too.
So what else do I enjoy? Well, I LOVE to snuggle up in the evening with my favourite human, resting my head on their lap and purring gently, and, if I'm lucky, my foster mum might remember to give me tickles under my chin, which are just the best. If you need proof, just watch my videos!
Some useful information: my foster mum has three boy cats who have been very good about allowing me into their space but to be honest with you, I would prefer you had a family with no cats where I can focus all my love and attention on you because that's what I do best. I have been in the company of dogs before and they didn't bother me so my foster mum thinks I'll be just fine with them. At the very least, she thinks I’m the right kind of character to try and make friends with whatever pooch you have!
My favourite games involve balls of any description, so a playful human – even little humans - who have time to play with me will not be disappointed. When I have my quiet time, usually in the afternoon, I love to lie on my favourite pillow in the window and watch the birds and other wildlife (including possums and bats at night). Sometimes I see cats roaming around outside too, so this is a good time to tell you that I am an indoor-only cat and have no interest in experiencing outdoor life again (I was a stray in my former life and I’m grateful to be safe and warm inside).
If you are looking for a really affectionate and gentle boy, then I hope you might give me the chance to add some joy to your family. Thank you for reading about me.
Love, Ned xxx
