About Gretchen
Bring home a bundle of joy in the form of a little feline named Gretchen. This little kitty has an intriguing combination of a vibrant personality, spiced up with a dash of mischief. With a bit of patience and affection, she blossoms into one of the most snuggly cats you will meet, making her perfect for a household looking for a faithful feline friend.
With her sleek coat and bright eyes, Gretchen is visually captivating. But it's her personality that really wins hearts! When comfortable, she loves the company of her humans and will often purr loudly at the hint of attention. She spends her time running around playfully, mastering the art of batting balls, and taking cat toys on a grand tour from room to room in her adorable mouth.
Bedtime finds Gretchen curled up preferably on a child's bed, making her a charming bedtime companion. Once she warms up to her human companions, you can expect her to approach you for lots of loving pats, making her a wonderful companion for quiet evenings in.
Though Gretchen loves her human companions, she is less fond of canine interactions and would thrive best in a home without dogs. However, she gets along well with other cats and enjoys their company.

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal aswell.
* You will need to pay an extra $10 for microchip transfer fee into your name.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
