About Jelly
( SPECIAL NEEDS)
Jelly came into care as a young pup having learnt to be scared of people and the world around him. With lots of time, patience, care and love Jelly has slowly learnt that there are people he can trust and come a long way showing amazing resilience.
It takes time for Jelly to trust a person, once he does, you get to see how gentle and soft he is, with a fun loving goofy side. He is great with cats and other dogs and loves to go for a swim at the local creeks.
He is still unsure and not confident about many things. With the person that he trusts by his side he will hesitantly give new things a go and is slowly, slowly becoming more confident.
He likes the comfort of indoors and having his own crate to hang out in whenever he chooses and to sleep in at night. He enjoys having another doggo for company.
We believe he is ready to find his furever home - a family probably with older kids,if any (he finds small kiddos too noisy and unpredictable) who will continue to support and encourage his growth and provide the love and patience he needs.
Jelly will fit into any type of family situation where he is a big part of his family. As long as he included in the family, he will be a happy guy. Adopters who understand his breed will particularly benefit if they choose to have Jelly as a member or their family.
Jelly will require adopters who are committed to continuing his training to ensure that he will be the best version of himself that he can possibly be. His foster mum would love to have a chat if you would like to know any more about this special dog.
To ensure a reply, please tell us a bit about yourself and your location. Interstate adoption is available at adopters expense.
