Pear & Coco - 1.5 Year Old Maltese X Shih Tzu

Meet the dynamic duo of Pear and Coco two Maltese Shih Tzu sisters who are 18 months old. They are happy, healthy and playful and love spending time with their humans. They are affectionate and like nothing more than to sit on your lap or cuddle next to you and enjoy lots of pats.

They’re both active and playful and are just learning how to chase a ball and play with toys. They love going for zoomies around the yard.

They’re inside dogs and need to be welcome inside and to sleep inside. They’re mostly housetrained with access to inside / oustide. They’re good in the car 🚗. They aren’t nuisance barkers but will let you know when someone comes to your door.

They are used to living with other small dogs and get along well with them. They haven’t spent much time with children but they’re gentle and not nippy but do get excitable when new people come into the house. They are learning that cats are not to be chased but would probably be better suited to a house without cats or other pocket pets.

Both are just learning to walk on a harness and will need further training in this area as well as other areas like sit, stay and basic commands.

Pear and Coco have low shedding coats which needs regular brushing and grooming every 6 – 8 weeks to keep them comfortable and healthy.

Because they have each other they are okay to be left at home alone but would still be better with someone home regularly.

Pear and Coco are delightful companions who would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.

Pear and Coco are in foster care in Mount Hutton, NSW. They are preferred not to be available for adoption interstate. Their adoption fee is $1800 for both and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
