About Alice
Alice is an awesome little dog who loves all humans, and will have even the most hardened person giving her pats and tummy rubs in a shot. She's still fairly young and excitable, so maybe not great for small children, but 10 and over should manage her ok.
She's a good little eater, and there isn't a treat she won't eat... except maybe raw roo tails for some strange reason! Chicken necks are a fave snack, but she'll eat fruit and veggies if you offer them to her... lol!
Alice is fully toilet trained and is very good in the house, happy to just chill out with her humans. She won't make a very good guard dog, as she loves people too much, and happily invites anyone to come in and give her pats... haha!
She likes to have solid chewables to exercise her jaws and clean her teeth, and loves cow hooves and goat horns, or her big black Kong toy. She does not chew things she's not supposed to, but by giving her doggy chewables keeps her entertained. Soft toys need to be hard wearing as she is a normal Staffy and non-rugged toys will die quickly.
Alice had lived with another dog in her previous home, however, do not believe she received any socialisation with dogs outside of the home so is best suited as an only dog in the home at this stage that way she can get all of your attention. Alice has been working on her interactions with other dogs with our foster carer and one of our trainers whilst out and about and is very responsive to her foster carer or handler. At this stage, Alice is not up to be taken to busier areas with multiple dogs running around, such as dog parks, cafes and the likes. Alice loves to play games in the backyard with her foster carer and walk in quieter areas
We do not send application forms so please send us an informative email telling us about your family and lifestyle so we can see if you and Alice are a good match.
