Extremely loyal, Lucy likes nothing more than to engage with you and participate in your daily activities. With great recall skills, she's marvelous off-leash, and she's mastered the basics — such as sitting and shaking hands — with ease. This charismatic dog loves to engage with other canines, but she does have a knack for getting in their faces a bit — she just wants to play! She is learning to behave around cats and horses but needs more training before she can be 100% trusted not to chase.

Lucy shows great enthusiasm for car rides; her tail practically becomes a blur from the wagging. She absolutely adores running and playing, so regular exercise is a real necessity for her. She feels most content when she can stretch her legs, run about, and explore new areas with her family. She's also crate-trained, so going into her own private space isn't a problem when needed.

Lucy's high-spirited nature and friendly demeanor can be a bit much for some dogs, so she would ideally suit a household where she can be the only dog. Her gentle nature goes hand in hand with her playful spirit, making her the perfect companion for an active and fun-filled lifestyle. She would be fine with children in her new home though is still learning not to jump.
