Lovely Luka is a snuggly lap cat with the softest, fluffiest coat you'll ever stroke!
As a colony rescue, he entered foster care with some trepidation - but he's quickly realised that being a house kitty is fantastic, with toys in abundance and cuddles on tap :)
He's now obsessed with getting comfy on his foster mum while she watches TV, or climbing up onto her back and shoulders when the mood to be a parrot strikes! He also enjoys the company of other friendly cats, and might be well-suited to a family home with children aged 8+.
This sweet and funny boy can't wait to meet you and instantly steal your heart!
Like all Maggie's pets, Luca is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm still little and very active, so a hands-on human (or humans) with plenty of time to spend with me is a must! Someone who works from home or is retired would be perfect, but not essential.
A cat friend would also be wonderful, for playtime, companionship and helping me settle in.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Sky-high! I love to chase my crinkly balls around the house, race through my tunnels, play with wand toys and wrestle with my foster sister :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I just ADORE playing, so if you have older, cat-savvy kids (8+) who love games and mischief that would be perfect! I'm still learning that fingers are not for biting, so unfortunately a family with little ones wouldn't suit.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are awesome! I have an amazing foster sister who's taught me that being a house cat is actually a pretty sweet gig, and I'd definitely prefer a forever home that has another nice kitty for me to bond with.
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
