Say hello to Charlie!
Although we do see many Wolfhound cross’s in rescue, there are not a lot of pure breed ones.
Charlie is a beautiful, 3 year old Irish Wolfhound girl who has come into our care through no fault of her own.
Unfortunately, her companion, another Irish Wolfhound has become grumpy in his old age, and it was unfair on Charlie.
True to her breed, Charlie is a gentle, loving dog who adores her humans. She is great with other dogs and lived with a cat in her previous home.
Charlie loves the finer things in life. A comfy bed, good food and lots of love. She is very much a companion dog who loves to be wherever her humans are.
Although she is a big girl, Charlie has a gentle nature, and she truly believes she is a lap dog. She is loyal and loving and would do well in a home where she is an integral part of daily life.
Charlie has had all of her vet work done, including a dental scale and polish.
Although Charlie is a sweetheart, she is still a big dog so she does need a home with someone who is capable of handling and caring for her. She has come to us quite underweight and although she is gaining well, her weight gain needs to continue.
