Chilli

Hello, my name is Chilli (I got my name as I am a very easy going cat). When I arrived at Little Paws Kitten Rescue I was very pregnant, I had 5 beautiful kittens who have gone off to find their forever homes and now I am looking for mine. I am a beautiful calm cat 90% of the time but in that 10%, which coincides with the laser pointer being out, I turn into an incredibly playful kitten who is full of beans and will catch the red dot if it is the last thing I do. But don’t worry I am also partial to a dangle toy as well, but don’t tell my foster mummy that it is the interactive play I love the most.

I am a cuddler and when you are sitting on the couch watching TV I will come and join you and if there is a lap that I can cuddle up on that makes me even happier, but don’t worry when I am on your lap, I curl up into the tiniest loaf and you will barely notice that I am there. The same happens when you go to bed, I will start off asleep at the end of your bed and when you wake up there will be a tiny loaf all curled up right next to you. Sometimes if it is very cold, I will also work my way under the covers. My foster mummy does think I use magic as I am so quiet and stealth, I don’t even wake her up as I move into my final position.

There are a couple of other things that I think you need to know about me, I am a bit of a baker, so I do love to knead, especially on a soft blanket. I am a little bit of a chatty lady, and I will let you know when I am entering a room, or if I think it is time for food. The third thing that you need to know is I do love Seafood, whether it is Tuna or Jelly cat food – seafood flavours are my favourite.

I am a cat that loves to be around you, this means that not only will I help you clean out the shower once you are finished in there, I will follow you into the bathroom as well. I also very much enjoy the views from the top of the cat towers in the house. I love to be up high and watch the people and animals that are out the window.

All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, this is for their safety and health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you let them know if you cannot make an appointment.
