About Bonnie
Meet Bonnie, a German Shorthaired Pointer cross with an inviting spirit that will melt your heart. Bonnie, while still young, has already grown into a beautiful, lively pup filled with both energy and high-spirited mischief.
Initially, Bonnie and her sister, Anita—comically known together as "The Pointer Sisters"—had quite a strong bond. Over time, however, as their confidence grew, so did their independence. It's now clear that whilst Bonnie still relishes the company of other dogs, she's also keen to further develop her own unique personality. As of late, Bonnie has formed a great companionship with our adorable Matilda, a stalwart Staffy cross. Bonnie does need to have the company of an established dog in the household. She would not cope being an only dog. Bonnie would also not cope being left alone at home 7/8 hours per day. Pointers are very much people dogs and require attention and engagement.
One of Bonnie's standout traits is her size, which is relatively small for a German Shorthaired Pointer. Even though we aren't entirely sure what other breed she may carry, her personality projects the inherent sweetness and gentle quirks of a Pointer.
Bonnie was born on the 27th of January, 2024, and has been desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and microchipped; all the necessary steps have been taken to ensure she's ready to join your family. For Bonnie, the ideal home would provide plenty of opportunities to play and socialise with another doggy companion.
Bonnie appears to have all the makings of a loyal and spirited family pet, ready to nurture her newfound independence while still treasuring the companionship of her new doggy pal. Bonnie is indeed a sweetheart waiting to warm another family’s heart. For more information about adoption, feel free to get in touch.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
